The trail is oriented to the north, runs through a coniferous forest, crosses DJ 155F county road and continues towards Curmatura Lutu Rosu Saddle, diverting slightly to the northwest. After about 45 minutes, you reach Curmatura Lutu Rosu Saddle in a small meadow called La Arsuri (1,041 m). There is a small table with benches here. From here, continue straight ahead on the blue triangle trail, first descend slightly through the forest, and then continue on DJ 155F county road to Izvorul Alb brook for about 200 m. Walk to the left, leave the county road and follow an old logging road along Izvorul Alb brook. In the distance, you can see Toaca Peak accompanied by Panaghia Cliff to the left. The forest road slowly turns into a path that climbs gradually and crosses Izvorul Alb brook several times. After about 1.2 kilometres since you left DJ 155F county road, reach Dochia Cliff (1,179 m) below Piciorul Sihastrului secondary ridge. A small spring emerges below the huge rock. The confluence of Jgheabul Mare creek with Jgheabul cu Hotaru creek is a little higher above Dochia Cliff, in a large meadow called "La Izvoare". Walk along Jgheabul cu Hotaru creek through the dense coniferous forest, which sometimes offers a view of Izvorul Muntelui Lake. The last section through the forest is more difficult as the path makes its way through the conglomerate blocks that detached themselves from the steep slope of the Ceahlau. Walk below the rock with Vulturul lui Traian (Trajan’s Eagle), on the right, and the Sentinel on the left, and after about 1.2 km further away from Dochia Cliff get out of the forest and walk through Poarta de Piatra (the Stone Gate) until you get into a natural amphitheatre called Cetatea de Piatra (the Stone Fortress). Next, there is a difficult section through the dwarf mountain pines below Toaca Peak and Lespezi Peak (1,805 m), taking you to the endpoint, Dochia Hut. The trail bends to the left and after another 1.2 km from the exit from the forest reach Dochia Hut, at an elevation of 1,760 m. The entire route from DJ 155F county road up to Dochia Hut is also a thematic route, part of a Life Natura program.
