The trail starts from DN1A national road, 865 meters from Podul Teslei (signpost). Walk through the meadow above the road for 240 meters and enter the forest in a hollow. Climb this wet hollow for about 1.1 km (200 meters difference in elevation) to the north-western end of Poiana Taiata meadow....
