The trail splits of Trail 10, at an elevation of 1,160 m. After about 200 meters, enter the 300-meter long Paraul Alb Gorge, with 70-100-meter high walls. The winding valley goes up through the rock walls. When it becomes wider, enter Cheile Mici gorge along Paraul Alb brook (100 meters long). Then, the trails takes you through dark forests and bright grassy meadows. A valley remains on your left, coming from below Zaganu walls. Continue along the narrow stream of Paraul Alb valley. There are two passages where the valley is less than a meter wide and it is necessary to pay more attention while crossing them. The path climbs the dry valley below Culmea Stancoasa ridge, and after leaving the alpine meadow, it goes up between the two streams tributary to Paraul Alb brook, along a high spur. Cross a few hollows through dwarf pines and juniper shrubs and climb to the point called "La rascruce" (At the Crossroads) (1,805 m) (intersection with Trails 7 and 18).
