03MN10: Dl. Stefăniţei - V. Fundoaia - La Vălaie

The blue triangle trail starts 300 meters from the train station in Dealul Stefanitei. Leave the asphalt road and follow the road along the right bank of Valea Frumusica (Fundoaia) valley. After an hour, reach a confluence. A fairly new forest road continues to the right and there is a stream ahead of you. Continue to climb next to this stream. After 10 minutes, come across a road and a meadow with several summer shelters. Walk through the left side of the huts and enter the forest. Trail markers are rare and there are many forest roads in the area. These will take you to a meadow, where there is a sheepfold. The sheepfold remains a little to the right (south-east) and the grassy path leads you to the left, where you come across the red stripe trail (Trail 1). Follow it to the right and in 3 minutes get to the area called "La Valaie", a series of concrete watering troughs for animals.
