Starting from Prilop Pass, the trail takes you through another segment of the main ridge of Maramures Mountains. In the first part, the trail coincides with the route of the red stripe tourist marking up to Tarnita Balasanii Saddle. Since the starting point is at 1,416 m in Prislop Pass, the difference in elevation to Tarnita Balasanii Saddle is not significant and the trail is beautiful, medium in length and difficulty, with only a few more difficult sections. Rodnei Mountains or Cearcanu Peak can be seen once you advance. From Tarnita Balasani Saddle, the descent on the dirt road along Izvorul Ursului Valley takes you to a larger intersection, where there is a group of cabins and a forest lodge. Turn right (south) and cross towards Tibau, Salhoi and then Zambroslav valleys. The 12 kilometers that separate you from DN18 national road connecting Maramures to Bukovina run fast and you reach Sesuri. Return to Prislop Pass on the asphalt. If you want, you can visit the Roots Museum.
