The trail starts at Intre Rebre and goes up on the road for articulated forest tractors along Valea Obarsia Rebrii valley. After about 3 km, at the confluence of two streams, the marked trail leaves the stream and climbs the wooded ridge between the two creeks (trail markers appear on two rocks, 10 and 15 m above the valley). After about 20 minutes, get out of the forest into a meadow next to a shepherd hut. Walk along the meadow to the west, in a gradual climb, following the trail markers on the rocks and then the shepherds’ path. At the end of the meadow, take the road for articulated tractors that climbs from the left. (Attention! When descending, there is no trail marker indicating the part where you have to leave the road and take the path through the meadow!). Continue on the road to Saua Zanelor saddle, where you come across the blue stripe trail (Trail 17).
