The second trail in the Grohotis Mountains starts right at their boundary, namely Bratocea Pass, which separates them from the Ciucas Mountains. From the pass, climb on the clear forest road that has a few steeper parts and get out of the forest. From here, the direction is simple – follow the ridge of the Grohotis Mountains to the NE-SW on dirt roads, which sometimes become grassy. Go past Bobul Mic and Grohotisu Peaks, always at a great elevation. Start a long descent to the village of Tesila, sometimes with small slope breaks reminding you that all great ridges have both ups and downs. Once in the village, reach the asphalt road, have a break and then continue along the valley for a few kilometers. Leave the valley and continue on a forest road along Valea Dinteasa Valley that will take you back to Grohotis Ridge. The on and off-bike parts of the trail are due to the steep slope or the grass and the fact that the roads are not used anymore. Get below Bobul Mic Peak and return to Bratocea Pass on your own wheel marks. This is a beautiful loop trail with broad panoramas of the Baiului, Ciucas, Tataru Mountains and not only.
