From Prislop Pass you start climbing on trail 10 marked with red stripe and blue triangle. Follow the description from trail 10 (red stripe) until you get past Tafa Saddle. From here, after a few minutes you reach an information board of Maramuresului Mountains Natural Park. Next, the road is less visible but the marking is clear, with signposts and other information panels, and you get into the dwarf pine area. There is a panel and a marked arrow here. Walk above them and come to another information panel, referring to the name of the trail (Aleea Piticilor – Alley of the Dwarfs). From this point you enter the dwarf pine area to the right, leave the ascending path and follow the trail through the bushes. Descend to the north-west cirque of Cearcanu. Get to a rock marked with a signpost and then the path gets lost up to the ridge. Trail markers are scarce, so pay attention! There are great chances of losing the way. Get on the ridge and descend a few tens of meters until the path becomes clear, and then the trail is easy to follow, descending on the southern slope of Cearcanu, below two large cliffs, and then crosses slightly to the left, entering a descending ridge that guides you to a sheepfold. From here you continue on a clear forest road and after about 45 minutes you get to DN 18 national road in front of Borsa complex.
