Cross Turnu Rosu on the main road (leading to Turnu Rosu Monastery). Cross the brook on the bridge and in front of a water trough (spring), see the red triangle marker on a narrow street to the west. Continue to the west exit and walk through a hayfield where the marking leads you up, southwards, through the shrubs, to the entrance to the forest. The path becomes clearer and continues on the western slope of the peak to a stream. From here, climb to the east, cross a hayfield and get to the top. The trail follows the hill top to the south, mostly on the western slope, gaining elevation and you cross on the eastern slope of Frasin Ridge. Get out of the forest in a wide meadow that opens to the southwest. This is the intersection with the red cross trail that climbs from Turnu Rosu, past Turnu Rosu Monastery and continues to the main ridge. It is also the intersection with the blue triangle trail descending towards Turnu Rosu along Pietriceaua Ridge.
