The trail starts from the village of Cornesti, follows the street next to the church and reaches the narrow-gauge railway bridge (over the Aries) in two versions. Cross the bridge and walk northward through a field where there are trail markers on power poles. Reach the road that goes to the village of Cheia and after 500 m cross Hasdate stream and continue on the road that comes along the valley. Walk up for 600 m and there are two variations of the trail. One goes past the dam and starts climbing from the waterfall, while the other crosses Hasdate stream here, together with trail 37 (yellow stripe). They split 100 m further and the route continues up through the forest, on a steep gully. The two variations rejoin at a signpost. From here, the path goes first through a forest, then through patches of forest, shrubs and meadows and crosses several streams, some drained, coming down the hill. As the road is cut into the hillside, several secondary ridges must be bypassed. From time to time, you have the chance to enjoy a nice view over Hasdate Valley. Towards the end, the trail follows forest roads. Reach Turda Gorge next to the new Mountain Rescue Hut, 300 m SE of the first bridge.
