There are 10 tourist information boards along the trail. As the red dot trail is not visible anymore, especially in areas of grassland and bushes, the trail looks more like tourist board hunting than following a trail marking on a well-defined path. Start from the signpost with several arrows located about 300 m from Templul Cavalerilor (Knights Temple) guest house. Head north on a route parallel to DJ107C county road, more or less on the contour line. If you are lucky, after a bit over 350 m, reach the first tourist information board, with a description of the 10 boards. Change direction to the left (west) and start climbing, getting closer to the cliffs. Reach the scree and the second board. Turn right and after a bit over 200 m on the contour line, reach the third board, below the entrance to Puculea Cave. Leave the road to have a look at the cave entrance. Return to the trail and enter the forest. Trail markers are now clear and can be seen on the trees. Climb steeply through the forest, walk past the fourth board, and after leaving the grassland and the bushes soon reach Bogza Mare Peak. This place is marked with a metal cross and the fifth board. The view is impressive. From here, trail markers are again scarce and less visible. Walk through shrubs and meadows, and in "La Corobana" meadow reach the intersection with trail 3 (yellow stripe). The sixth board is here. Enter the forest and descend 100 m alongside trail 3 to avoid an area of underbrush. Turn right and go round the amphitheater, past the seventh and the eighth boards, and have a break with a view on the beautiful Bogza Mica Peak. The ninth board is here. Descend to the castle/guest house on a clear path, past the tenth board.
