The trail is accessible by bicycle. From the entrance to the village of Cainenii Mici, walk on the rural road on the east bank of the Olt River until you get to the exit of the village, upstream, from where you continue on a communal road that climbs the hill in the direction of some high voltage power lines. Follow the main village road close to the ridge and walk past many sheepfolds. Beware of dogs! The road goes towards the northeast, close to the ridge. From time to time, the trail crosses forest areas. There are water sources in the area. Walk through a large meadow. From here, you can continue on the forest road on the eastern slope or along the ridge. On the ridge, the trail gets lost and enters the brush, a wild area that is difficult to cross, with bear traces. On the forest road, you get to an area with massive logging, with a web of forest roads, where you can descend on Satului Valley to Cainenii Mici village. After leaving the forest, there is a saddle with a meadow and a lookout point. You can descend to the east, in the valley, to the sheepfolds. Continue on the edge to the intersection with the main ridge, which is rockier than the gentle edge you climbed on. The trail crosses the main ridge at an elevation of 1,780 m above sea level, near Chica Fedelesului Peak.
