The trail starts from DN1 national road (E60) and crosses the village of Tureni together with DJ103G county road. Cross A3 motorway on a road passage. Then, turn right on DJ107L county road (west) and 200 m further, a blue arrow indicates it's time to leave the road and climb Petrid hill. Sandulesti quarry remains to the left and you mainly walk along the hill together with trail 1 (red stripe). Trail markers are scarce and poorly visible, but orientation is easy. After walking for 2.5 km from A3, get to a signpost and the intersection with trail 32 (blue triangle). Here, turn right (west) and continue walking up the hill and after another 2.2 km reach the left slope of Turda Gorge. Join the red stripe and red dot trails and descend steeply to Hasdatelor Valley, upstream from Turda Gorge.
