Start from Tureni village and head towards Tureni Gorge, where there is a powerful spring. A very old blue triangle mark on a pole suggests tourists not to descend into the gorge, but to continue in the same direction. Use one of the paths up high on the right side of the gorge and have a nice view of the gorge. Continue south on the edge of the dense forest and reach A3 motorway. As you can not cross it, turn left and walk along the road for over 1 km. Go down to the passage and cross it under the motorway. Reach the Roman Spring, a very powerful water source. From here, go up to DJ107L county road, leave two blocks to the right and continue on the road that goes to Sandulesti quarry. Get out into a pasture, leave the road and turn right (west) to start a gentle ascent to the signpost. Join trails 1 and 31. Here, turn left (south) and soon reach the road that you have recently left. Follow this road and descend to DJ103G county road between two farms. Walk past an isolated cabin and descend steeply on a footpath, together with trail 40 (yellow dot), through the forest, along Vapa brook, until you reach Turda Hut.
