From Pojorata follow 175B county road (Transrarau) for 3.8 km. After crossing a bridge over Colbu Valley, a road splits to the right (W) and goes up on Chilia Valley. Walk past some cottages (including Chilia Hut) and past the homonymous chapel. Two more large cabins remain on the left, then the marking leaves the road to climb on the right slope (left as you climb). You have walked 1.6 km up to this point. There is a multitude of forest roads and the trail switches between them. You have to pay attention when there is an intersection. The tiring ascent takes you through clearings and bushy area or young forest. Reach the interfluve between Surii and Chilia streams and walk along it to soon get into a thick forest. The road goes around a small peak (on the right, W), then continues parallel to the ridge on the left (E), through a clearing with young trees. Again get into an older forest with the road always following the ridge or goes parallel on the left. The road becomes less visible and turns into a path. Continue in the same direction and after you leave the forest the trail continues on the edge of the forest for a while. Get to the intersection with trail 6 (blue dot) in a saddle where in case of rain a small temporary lake comes to life.
