Rich in nature and strategically located on the Danube - Danube Gorge - the main gateway to Western Europe, this region has been aimed at and ruled by various powers starting with the Roman Empire. The influence of different people and cultures is still present in the region of Banat, the population being represented by numerous ethnicities living in different areas and distinct places that have preserved their traditions and characteristics over time. Currently, these communities are becoming increasingly poorer, the various socio-economic issues determining most of the inhabitants to go back to their home countries, so many places are totally abandoned, coming back to life only during religious holidays when the successors of these inhabitants return to their origin. There are communities that seem untouched by time, which preserve the traditions, languages or costumes that turned them into unique places, living proof of the history and cultural diversity that characterize this region. here are still representative communities for more than eight ethnic groups in the region of Banat. Hungarian, Roma, Ukrainian, Croatian, Czech, German and Serbian communities take bikers on an authentic historical and cultural journey. hus, we created 3 mountain bike trails connecting special and unique Croatian, Czech and German villages from the Mountainous Banat. The simplicity of life in these places and the local hospitality take you to another world that has nothing to do with the life in the 21st century cities.
