The first blue stripe markers are on DN 18 national road after the exit from Baia Sprie towards Sighet. The marking follows the paved road past the intersection with the bifurcation towards Suior. As you climb, you reach a point where there is a cottage on the left, private property with a white fence, and a parking on the right. Without any indicator showing the change of direction, get to the edge of the forest that borders the parking lot and find the first marker. Follow the marked path, cut a bend in the road and get higher where, after a few meters, there is a large wooden gate on the right side. In order to continue you have to open the gate and walk through the private property that seems to be a trout farm. It is good to know that the trout pools are somewhere on your right, and the old markers that appear confirm that you are on the right track. Climb through the forest and easily get higher. After the edge of the forest, the blue stripe trail continues to the east along the edge of the deciduous forest. Before the intersection with the red triangle trail that comes from Bodi Lake, walk past a small mountain rescue hut. You can refill your water bottles in the brook at the intersection with the red triangle trail or from the next spring located a bit higher. The blue stripe trail begins a steep climb on a long valley and after 3.25 km from the asphalt you reach Boului Meadow and the intersection with the red stripe trail, which you can continue on.
