The yellow stripe marking splits from the blue stripe marking, at the bridge over Berbecioara brook, near the Summer Time Complex, and continues to the end of Mogosa Street. It climbs past the households, initially on the asphalt, then on the gravel road. The marking follows Catanelor Road and reaches a wide meadow, where there is a tarn. You have gained a few meters in elevation and you can enjoy the view of Secatura, Gutaiu and Gutaiul Mic (Three Apostles) peaks. Walk along the lake and turn left towards the edge of the forest. Here you can see the marking, as well as the slope which indicates a continuous climb up to Tarnita Arsitei Saddle. Initially, the forest is a mixture of deciduous and coniferous trees, then only conifers (an area where there are some fallen trees), and then the wide path runs exclusively through the deciduous forest. The climb on the slope above Mihai creek takes you above the forest and to a signpost. Up to this point, in Tarnita Arsitei Saddle, you have walked for about an hour, and you now reached the intersection with the red cross marking. You can continue up to Mogosa Peak, guided by the red cross.
